10 Things David Tennant Has Done Since Leaving Doctor Who
2. He Came Back To Doctor Who
When the Tenth Doctor bid his heartbreaking farewell in the closing moments of The End of Time, Part Two (apparently he didn't want to go...), fans woefully accepted that they'd never see him again. They were stupid to think that, really, because quite literally anything can - and will - happen in Doctor Who. Three years later David was dusting off his Converse and stepping back aboard the TARDIS to partake in the show's landmark 50th anniversary festivities. And oh, what a landmark it was! He joined forces with the then current Doctor Matt Smith and John Hurt's guilt-ridden incarnation to embark on one of the greatest adventures yet in the feature-length escapade The Day of the Doctor and it was like Christmas had come early for David's legion of followers. It was like he had never been away and his inclusion made the celebrations even more special. David hasn't written off the possibility of making another return in the future, either, although he's noted that it won't happen for "at least" another 10 years. Is it the 60th anniversary yet!? Unfortunately not, but David's got something to keep him busy in the meantime...
