3. She Won An Emmy
In 1995, when she was just eighteen years old, Sarah Michelle Gellar won an Emmy for her role as Kendall Hart in All My Children. It was at the 22nd Daytime Emmy Awards. The nomination for the award came in the Younger Actress in a Drama Series category and she was competing against Kimberly McCullough who played Robin Scorpio in General Hospital, Rachel Miner who played Michelle Bauer in Guiding Light and Heather Tom who played Victoria Newman in The Young and the Restless. She has also won Saturn Awards, MTV Movie Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Blockbuster Entertainment Awards and People's Choice Awards, but the Emmy win twenty years ago still stands out as the most prestigious.
