8. An Imperfect Superman

The DCEU’s version of Superman has had a mixed reception at best as Cavill’s version of the Man of Steel has dealt with issues that are new to the character of Superman. With the world not ready for such a "unique" take to the character, the DCEU version of Superman has been placed on the bench until further instruction.

With Zack Snyder’s version of the Boy in Blue not winning over audiences' hearts, The CW can portray this theme in the right way meaning that even though it’s not with the same Superman, Snyder fans can sort of have their cake and eat it.

Tyler Hoechelin’s Superman isn’t perfect - he has killed his version of General Zod for the greater good of mankind. The show itself could show the after-effects of taking a life for the good of the world. Clark could learn from characters like General Sam Lane that sometimes you need to make the hard call in order to save everyone.

Exploring these themes in a show like Superman could show respect for the military, as they are sometimes the unsung heroes that see some pretty gruesome stuff just so the world can keep turning.
