Let's start with the obvious one. Much talk was made of the difficulty of writing a story that includes all the Doctors for the 50th anniversary special. This is entirely correct - 75 minutes is far too short to represent them all. But if you had 2 hours, you might be able to scrape it if you did it in the style of The Five Doctors. You could give each Doctor a subplot and then have them meet at the very end. Incapacitating Doctors like 1, 2, and 3, who cannot participate, is an easy way to wave away their absence, or you could use CGI and voice actors to recreate their faces on doubles. Aging the older actors in their roles is simple too, it's more or less a fairytale universe and people watching will be 100% fine with your excuse, so long as they can see their favourite Doctor one more time. At least theoretically, anyway. This idea would be extremely difficult to bring to the big screen, though. It's supremely unlikely that all the previous actors who played the Doctor could be coaxed back for one final show, but it's a lot of fun to think about nonetheless. It would definitely bring in lots of viewers.
