The Who loving member of the sweet, otherwise loving couple will enquire whether honey-snookums would like to actually watch an episode. The problem is this. Many fans feel like they need to convert people to the cause of Doctor Who. After all, the programme is enormous fun and who wouldn't want to share something fun with the person they love? The answer to the question is a no-brainer. Go ahead and snuggle up on the couch and watch the episode. If it's not to the non-fan's taste, that's OK, no harm was done. Since every episode is a little different, the next one might be more favourably received. In that regard, Doctor Who is like beer. New fans might have to knock back a few stories before they get used to the taste, but then they'll love it! Maybe.
