Netflix

Netflix has literally thousands of TV shows, movies and documentaries to choose from so, chances are, it will be able to fulfill whatever craving you have. You want to watch some old school Pokemon? Have fun! You want a baking show but all the contestants are terrible? Try Nailed It! You want to watch a dorky British guy stand around awkwardly at a swinger's party? Let me introduce you to Louis Theroux.

Every now and then, however, you may be in the mood for a something that you haven't seen on their home page. Well. Not exactly.

Even though Netflix may have auto-filled the title for you, your heart sinks when you read the fine print that tells you although it may not have what you want, but here's something similar. 9 times out of 10, however their recommendation is usually the equivalent to ASDA giving you Jacob's cream crackers when you ask for Christmas crackers on your online shopping.

I see my role at WhatCulture the same way my wife sees my role as a lover: I contribute in a very small way, my presence is barely noticeable and I’m not entirely sure if the laughter is at me or with me.
