10 Things We Need In Stranger Things 3

1. A New Ending

Both seasons thus far have ended the exact same way.

All of the separate fractions of character finally unite, meeting up in one location. They all formulate a plan that requires them to split off into fractions again, leaving someone behind at said location to watch over the kids. Each fraction carries out its part of the plan simultaneously, the kids wind up disobeying orders and vitally contributing to the plan to help save the day, and Eleven defeats the evil force by holding out her hands and screaming real loud.

This isn't to say the endings haven't been effective, the final episode of season two is debatably one of the show's finest. Much like the structure of the series overall, the second season gets a bit of a pass for following the formula so closely because the larger budget meant the Duffer Brothers could do shots and effects they only dreamt of in season one.

BUT, season three will not be afforded that luxury. It needs to switch things up and not just have Eleven be the end-all be-all of climaxes. It's time to either bring in the other numbers to help take on the evil forces (as mentioned previously), force the other characters to find a way to end it without Eleven, or let the heroes lose for once.

If they tie season three up in the same nice little bow in the exact same way, it will lessen the impact of not only that finale, but the previous two as well.
