10 Things We Need In Stranger Things 3
5. Nancy & Jonathan
The star-crossed lovers of the series, Nancy and Jonathan have been put through the ringer. After teaming up to hunt the Demogorgon in season one and beginning to fall for each other, Nancy ultimately stayed with Steve. Then, in season two, Steve and Nancy broke up, paving the way for Nancy and Jonathan to embark on another whirlwind adventure as they tried to learn the truth about the history of Hawkins National Laboratory's experiments.
During the course of their adventure in season two, they slept together and (more or less) became a couple. Despite a brief tease that perhaps Steve's feelings for Nancy aren't completely gone in the finale, season three looks primed to give audiences a fully formed relationship between Nancy and Jonathan, and that is a great thing.
They have had incredible chemistry from the get-go and they deserve the chance to finally develop a report beyond that of being two parts of a love triangle. Jonathan had finally learned to let go of his guilt over losing Will to the Upside Down in season one and with the truth revealed about Barb, Nancy's guilt has finally been resolved.
For the first time since the very first episode, both of these characters are actually free and after what they've been through, they deserve the chance to be happy together.
