4. The Other Numbers

Season two kicked open the door to much bigger possibilities for the show in it's opening episode, giving audiences a tease of Eight and her abilities. The season then proceeded to largely ignore this killer opening and barely even dip its toe into that world of possibility.

The Lost Sister episode united Eleven and Eight and gave a glimpse of the different kind of powers the various experiments from Hawkins Lab could have. But considering that Eleven is the eleventh experiment of her kind, there's still all kinds of room to not only flesh out Eight's role in the story but also introduce other experiments.

In Eleven's flashbacks to her time at the Lab, she only had specific memories of Eight, so there's a good chance that the other experiments would be a good deal older than her. Considering that Eleven's central motivation in season two was to learn more about her past and her family, introducing other numbers could challenge her character and her beliefs in new and interesting ways.

Here's hoping that Duffer Brothers and co. weren't discouraged by the fan reaction to The Lost Sister and press forward with the story of Eight and the other numbers.
