10 Things You Learn Rewatching Bob's Burgers

4. The Family Don't Know How To Manage Money

The Belcher family are consistently strapped for cash because they just don't know how to manage their money properly, and it's partially linked in with how Bob can't discipline his children.

The kids frequently waste restaurant supplies to satisfy their own boredom because their father doesn't take control of their sneaky behaviour. In particular, Louise often berates her dad for being so poor but is completely blind to the fact that her mischievous schemes cause him a great deal of financial damage. Meanwhile, Linda often spends the business money for her little projects, never thinking about how much she cuts into the budget.

You could also argue Bob is the only one who uses money wisely but even he's been known to throw it away frivolously, whether it's spending $300 on a chef's knife and casually destroying it a couple of days later or putting some of the budget towards a coffee machine, knowing full well it's not good for business.

The Belchers certainly wouldn't be rich if they were smart with money, but they would at least be more financially stable.
