10 Things You Learn Rewatching Star Wars Rebels

Star Wars Rebels Season 4
Lucasfilm

Composer Kevin Kliner has done incredible work for Star Wars since his time composing for Clone Wars. When he returned to work on Rebels, he accomplished some of his best Star Wars work.

Every episode ends with his remarkable end credits theme, which both caps off the episode on a perfect auditory note and packs in enough excitement to hype the audience for the Rebels' next outing. Additionally, the creepy, organ heavy music he uses for Thrawn - as well as the theme which plays when Sabine trains with the Darksaber - perfectly capture those characters and what they are experiencing in those moments.

Kliner himself once said, "I don't ever want to be, like, mini-me John Williams." Through his work in both Clone Wars and Rebels, Kliner establishes his own style of composition independent of Williams's work on the films, but worthy of as much praise.
