8. The Battle For WayneCorp

Much like what was seen in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne would have seen a power struggle for control over Wayne Enterprises.

When the series started, Bruce would have been a 17-year-old who had spent several years away from Gotham City. A key plot point to the pilot episode, was the fact that Wayne's impending 18th birthday was vital to the future of WayneCorp.

Initially wanting nothing to do with his father's company, Bruce had plans to sign over control of WayneCorp to Charles Palantine days before his 18th birthday gifts Master Wayne legal ownership of the company. In the pilot alone, Bruce and Gordon - with whom he'd become friends - would be the victims of an attempted murder as the battle for WayneCorp intensified.

By the time all was said and done with the pilot offering, Bruce Wayne would have turned 18 and opted to tear up the papers he'd need to sign if he wished to give up WayneCorp. This would have cemented the tense relationship between Bruce and the higher-ups at the company that he now found himself owning.
