10 Things You Only Notice Rewatching Seinfeld

6. Larry David Appears More Than You Think

Seinfeld Kal's Signs
NBC

Episodes: The Heart Attack, The Trip Part 2, The Pilot (Season 4), The Chinese Woman, The Gum (plus all George Steinbrenner appearances).

It's irrefutably strange to think that despite being the spearhead of the Seinfeld writing staff, and now being the main perpetrator in his own hit series - Curb Your Enthusiasm - that there was once a time that Larry David was completely unknown to the world's inhabitants, especially when you also factor in the fact that he regularly appeared in Seinfeld.

Outside of the George Steinbrenner roles which were just Larry David projecting an impression of the zany New York Yankees owner's trademark rants with no face to match the voice or anything resembling human physiology other than the back of his head, David performed a plethora of unique characters of his own.

The man in the cape who turns out to be Frank Costanza's lawyer, a shop vendor who casually enters the scene, his other vocal only appearances in episodes like The Marine Biologist and The Lip Reader, with the most unearthed, yet interesting appearance coming as - and this isn't a joke - Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
