9. Time Lords

First introduced back in 1969, the Time Lords have been a staple of Doctor Who ever since. Basically, they're the boring old people from The Doctor's home planet who wear silly hats and try to spoil all his fun. Then all died. Then they all came back, but maybe not really. It's all very confusing. Anyway, as Time Lords have such visually distinctive dress sense, you can usually find at least a handful of them wandering around at conventions, perhaps queuing for the loo, or ordering a burger. What you never want to do, is sit behind one of them for a viewing. Those ridiculous headpieces ruined my first ever viewing of Day of The Doctor. The memory still makes my heart ache.
