10 Times The Simpsons Really Did It

2. Killing Off A Character With A Murder Mystery

"And Then There Were Fewer" was Family Guy's take on the old murder mystery "And Then There Were None" - and it was a pretty decent episode overall. Maybe the last great season opener the show has had. However, when it comes to murder mysteries, and season opener murder mysteries, of course The Simpsons did it first, with the classic "Who Shot Mr. Burns" two part episode spanning the end of season six and beginning of season seven. We'll give Family Guy this: their culprit made more sense. At least the baby didn't do it (actually, in their case, Stewie being the killer would have made more sense than Maggie, come to think of it).
