10 Times Star Trek Actors Got Arrested

1. Jennifer Lien

Kes Voyager
Paramount

Jennifer Lien starred as Kes for the first three seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, returning for one episode of the sixth season. She was fired at the end of the third while producers attempted to make room on the show, and in the budget, for the arrival of Jeri Ryan. The final choice for termination was between her and Garrett Wang, though he was saved due to his popularity.

In 2015, Lien was arrested after failing to stop her vehicle after the pursuing police activated their lights. She attempted to strike the chasing car, then did manage to hit a car ahead of her. She was arrested and taken into custody, though she was issued with a fine rather than a jail sentence, and also received charges relating to public indecency after exposing a breast and her buttocks to children in that same year.

She was ordered to attend counselling and treatment for mental health issues, which she complied with. While the charges were still pending, the judge in the case said that they were dependant on her successful attendance of treatment. She was the only cast member not to participate in the Voyager celebration book, released by Eaglemoss Collections in 2020.
