10 Times Star Trek Refused To Give Fans What They Wanted

8. Not Making A Worf Show

A Star Trek show centred around Worf has been wanted by fans for years, and Michael Dorn himself has actually advocated for it many times.

His fellow Trek celebrities have also supported the idea. For example, Marina Sirtis mentioned in a recent interview that there has never been a series centred around the Klingons, and that a Star Trek: Worf show would be a good way to do it. Colm Meaney also liked the idea and said that he would be willing to come back for it.

Despite the hype for a Worf show, we haven't heard a word about it from the executives. However, Worf is returning to the franchise in season three of Star Trek: Picard, after a huge break from playing the character, and we can see that the does now hold the rank of Captain. There's a small chance that his appearance in the series could set up his own storyline, similar to how the new Captain Pike was treated by first appearing in Discovery before Strange New Worlds.
