The second season of the Fox series introduces us to Lucifer's mother - the goddess of all creation - in the body of the recently-murdered human, Charlotte Richards. In DC lore, however, Lucifer has no mother.
DC's Lucifer was created alongside Michael and Gabriel, prior to the creation of anything else. The angelic triplets were created - not born - in the void, and were set to work manifesting the cosmos in Yahweh's name.
Whereas on the TV series, Lucifer's mother literally gave birth to all reality, in the source material it was Lucifer and his brothers who created and shaped the multiverse. Lucifer having a mother is a massive change which recontextualizes everything, from Lucifer's cosmic role, to the idea of Yahweh as just one of a species of gods that create realities by mating...Wow.
