The name “Sadgasm” is one likely to prompt a response from most Simpsons mega-fans, but unfortunately it’s not a positive one (could it possibly have been, with a word like that?).
The fictitious band name came from this surreal and widely reviled instalment where we learn Homer was in a thinly-veiled Nirvana parody band whilst Marge was in college way back in the nineties...
You know, at the height of the show's popularity, when we know Homer and Marge were (or should have been) already in their forties and married?
