10 Transformers Who SWITCHED SIDES

Here we go, a fan favourite, and probably one of the more high profile entries on this list. Jetfire, or Skyfire as he was called in the G1 cartoon, is one of the Autobot's few Aerialbots. He is a bot of science, dedicating his life to the advancement of technology, something he used to share with his old buddy Starscream.

Yup, good natured, kind hearted Skyfire was once affiliated with the Decepticons, but a fateful accident saw him stranded on earth millions of years before the Ark and the Nemesis brought the Cybertronian war here. He was lost on a research mission with Starscream and ended up becoming encased in ice, sort of like a transformer version of Marvel's Captain America.

After the Decepticons found him in the Arctic, he was brought back into the ranks, but well, people can change in a few million years, and his best pal Starscream was not the same. Finding the Decpticon's methods too much for him to stomach, coupled with a growing attachment to humans, it didn't take long for Skyfire to switch sides to the Autobots.
