David Corenswet ended up becoming such an unexpected breakout of Netflix's The Politician that not even his limited screen-time could prevent fans from falling head over heels in love with the dreamy, well-developed and all-round lovable River Barkley.
That limited screen-time, however, won't be an issue for the talented performer - who has also appeared in episodes of Elementary and House of Cards - because he's set to play the lead role in upcoming Netflix series Hollywood alongside Darren Criss which drops in May. Adding to that, he will reprise his role as River on the second season of The Politician which is also expected to drop later this year.
Corenswet did a lot with very little last year, can you imagine what he's capable of doing with a leading role?
