Without question one of Netflix's most inventive, bizarre and hilarious original series, Santa Clarita Diet gained a big following during its three season run. Starring Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore, the series incorporated horror with dark comedy and got bigger and better with every passing episode.
After Sheila (Barrymore) goes through a series of changes and begins to eat people, her husband Joel (Olyphant) must get to the bottom of what's happening to her, battling ancient cults and befriending severed heads as he goes.
Like many of Netflix's cancellations over the years, the decision seems to have been made because the show was getting too expensive.
To make matters worse, the third season ended on a massive, game-changing cliffhanger. The fan outcry was as excepted - angry and demanding answers - but all Netflix ever divulged was that they weren't willing to put the money into the series anymore.
