10 TV Characters We Have A Massive Crush On (But Really Shouldn't)

5. Jesse Pinkman - Breaking Bad

It's pretty difficult to not love Jesse Pinkman. In a similar style to Jaime Lannister (although in no way as extreme) he's introduced as fairly undesirable. Jesse is a meth dealer, just a petty thug that dropped out of school and sleeps on dirty mattresses on random floors. Yet over the course of Breaking Bad Jesse becomes more likeable with every episode. Whereas Walt's morality erodes away and he twists beyond recognition, Jesse's proves his strong moral code again and again throughout the show. Aaron Paul's depiction of Jesse has been flawlessly nuanced, and has allowed for him to be such a consistently interesting and sympathetic character. His nervous breakdown over Jane's death showed just how much empathy he holds for those he cares for, and his subsequent clean-up demonstrated just how good he could be. The relationship he had with Andrea and her son Brock took this further. He worked so hard to ensure they were safe and well looked after, even from a distance. Sadly for Jesse his life is plagued by curve balls. No matter what he did, those he loved ended up dead as a result of his relationship with Walter. He'd be fine if he was a simple addict with a good heart (I'm not condoning drug use here, just FYI), but if you get involved with Jesse you get involved with Walt. As such, you'd better have an army behind you, or at least an industrial bullet-proof vest.

Fan of Taylor Swift and the Dead Kennedys (a duet I can only dream of). I like dystopias, slasher films, and video games that make me feel things.
