10 TV Characters Ron Swanson Would Love

7. Dr. Rainbow Johnson - Black-ish

Parks And Recreation Ron Swanson
ABC

Black-ish has been on the air for six years, and has become a tent pole of ABC's comedy programming. It's been greenlit for a seventh season and now has two spinoffs. One focuses on the family's oldest daughter at college while the other is a prequel about the youth of the show lead female character, Dr. Rainbow Johnson.

Created by Kenya Barris, Black-ish tells the story of an upper-middle class Black family in Los Angeles. Andre Johnson is an advertising executive and his wife, the previously mentioned Rainbow, is an anesthesiologist. They are wealthy and successful to say the least, but they still deal with a lot of heavy, real world problems.

Rainbow grew up in a hippie commune but made a drastic change in her life as she got older, becoming a highly respected doctor as well as an excellent mother and wife. Both talented and funny, Rainbow is someone Ron would want to spend time around as he respects people who work hard.
