10 TV Characters Ron Swanson Would Love

6. Brad Williams - Happy Endings

Parks And Recreation Ron Swanson
ABC

Happy Endings was one of those shows that never quite got the respect it deserved. A funny and offbeat series, it focused on a group of six 30 somethings building lives for themselves in Chicago. Some of them had been friends since childhood, while the rest of the group added in as their lives progressed.

One of the core members of the group was Brad Williams who joined when he met Max Blum, an existing member, when they were both cast members on a season of the MTV series, The Real World. As far as origin stories for friends go, it's actually a pretty unique one.

Brad worked in the world of high finance, and he's damn good at it. He and his wife Jane were the most successful members of the group. Ron loves capitalism, almost as much as he loves great meat and brown liquors. Brad also loves capitalism, something he and Ron would bond over almost immediately.
