Teddy is an enigmatic character shrouded in mystery, which would take a lot more than a 30-minute episode to dissect. Darius slowly chips away at this mystique throughout the course of the episode but there remains so much mystery around the character that one internet search of his name will likely bring up numerous fan theories. The character is killed at the end of the episode by supposed brother Bernie (it’s a whole thing - you need to watch the episode) so sadly it's likely that the story of Teddy Perkins will remain a mystery. However, Atlanta has not shied away from subverting conventional episodic structure so it could be possible for the character to appear again, perhaps with a dedicated episode looking at Teddy’s past.
