9. Alpha - The Walking Dead
The leader of the Whisperers, Alpha (Samantha Morton), quickly became a fan favourite villain on The Walking Dead and was largely accepted to be one of its recent bright spots.
But she met her grisly comeuppance in season 10's mid-season episode "Walk with Us," after Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) sets a trap for her by promising to reunite her with her daughter Lydia (Cassady McClincy). Instead, he slits her throat and plants a lip-lock on her as she expires.
As if that wasn't satisfying enough for fans eagerly waiting for Alpha to get hers, Negan then decapitated her and gifted the head to Carol (Melissa McBride), who placed it on a pike in a fitting act of revenge.
As great as Samantha Morton was in the role, this made for one of the most satisfying villain deaths in the show's entire history.
