10 TV Characters Who Will Be Killed Off In 2020

With Disney+ having already served up one piece of stunning original content with the Jon Favreau-developed The Mandalorian, fans are eager to see what the on-demand streaming service's upcoming new Marvel TV shows will deliver. One such series, of course, is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - a show which will be a part of Phase Four of the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Seeing Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprising their MCU roles as the headlining duo of this show, these two heroes will find themselves butting heads with Daniel Brühl's Helmut Zemo. Zemo has previously been seen in Captain America: Civil War, yet now the Sokovian terrorist will be fully embracing the classic purple mask and all-out supervillain tendencies of his comic book counterpart.

Towards the end of Civil War, audiences saw Zemo about to end his own life before Black Panther stepped in. But the death of Baron Zemo may finally play out once The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's six episodes arrive towards the end of 2020.

One might make the argument that Marvel's heroes are completely against killing off their foes, yet Thanos, Ultron, Erik Killmonger, Obadiah Stane, Whiplash, Laufey, Ronan the Accuser, Yellowjacket, and Ego are just a selection of villains who were murdered by some of the MCU's finest. And by the time 2020 is out, you can expect Baron Zemo to join those fallen villains.
