10 TV Characters Who Would Make Great Batman Villains

3. Frasier Crane (Cheers/Frasier)

Frasier Kelsey Grammer
NBC

Batman is no stranger when it comes to dealing with rogue psychiatrists going by the surname of 'Crane'. Scarecrow might be slightly more deranged than Frasier Crane is, but honestly, observing Frasier at his most flustered and incensed makes you believe that he really could be capable of something terrible. If he'll blow a gasket at poor table manners, imagine the fury he could unleash if he was truly provoked.

Frasier's pomposity and bourgeois tastes are classic villain characteristics, and the fact that he's a psychiatrist makes him particularly suited to a rivalry with Batman - the prominence of Arkham Asylum and characters such as Scarecrow and Harley Quinn routinely show that Batman is at his best when paired off against a foe with a strong psychological element.

He isn't the most intimidating physical specimen, but not every Batman villain is Bane, and his ability to pinpoint the emotional weak points of others and his arrogant taunting should provoke a fantastic game of psychological warfare between himself and The World's Greatest Detective. Especially when delivered in that smooth, confident, radio-friendly voice.
