8. Peter (Family Guy)
Ok, animated relationships are obviously different from real actors, but the foundations are all the same. People may think they can get away with a lot more simply because its animated and emotions seemingly take a back seat, but its still a relationship at the end of the day. If Peter Griffin were a real person, he would not be married. Frankly, Im amazed they havent played to the will Lois leave Peter" storyline more often. Its clear shes in love with him, but she suffers an awful lot for it. Peter abuses his relationship with Lois, putting her in precarious positions and yet somehow getting away almost completely unscathed. Peter is emotionally immature, childish and very rarely shows any qualities of a married adult. The only reason hes been placed in a marriage is for the sake of the TV show. Id be more intrigued to see them have some marriage trouble and then have Peter work to win Lois back. Theyve experimented with it on The Simpsons, so why not cross that over into Family Guy? I mean theyve copied almost every other idea in one way or another.
