SpongeBob SquarePants' uniquely oddball sense of humour has allowed it to sneak plenty of adult humour past younger viewers over the years, but even for the show's fairly permissive standards, this gag's a shocker alright.

In the season two episode "Your Shoe's Untied", SpongeBob is watching a sea anemone dancing, set to stereotypically jazzy porno music no less.

When Gary enters the room, SpongeBob panickedly changes the channel to American football and tells him, "I was just looking for the sports channel, Gary."

Clearly, the implication is that sea-life documentaries are very, very sexy to SpongeBob and his kind, but ingeniously, the gag rides the line perfectly where there's virtually no chance of a young child figuring it out.
