10 TV Moments IMPOSSIBLE To Watch Same Way After This

7. Geralt's Totally Plastic Sword - The Witcher

With The Witcher reportedly costing around $10 million per episode to produce, it's surely not unreasonable to expect the prop department to throw down the necessary dollars on some ultra high-quality props, right?

While that's the case for the most part, the show comes up short where arguably its most important prop is concerned: Geralt's (Henry Cavill) iconic sword.

Throughout the first season in particular, there's a distinctly plastic quality to the sword he wears sheathed on his back.

The way it reflects light accentuates the fact it's a cheaper, low-detail prop, and if you look closely at the sword's hilt and pommel, you can even make out a seam where the prop was clearly created from a plastic mold.

The sword's fakeness is most obvious in the show's second episode when Jaskier (Joey Batey) sings "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher," and even that song's iconic awesomeness can't fully distract from how the sword looks like it belongs in a high school drama class' prop cupboard.
