5. Dexter Uses A Printer From The Office - Dexter
Here's a totally ridiculous Easter egg from the sixth season of Dexter that sort-of suggests that the show takes place in the same universe as The Office.
While Dex (Michael C. Hall) is printing out and examining some documents, take a look at the brand of printer. Does Sabre sound familiar to you? It's the printer company which bought out Dunder Mifflin in The Office's seventh season.
Though clearly just a fun Easter egg given that Dexter and The Office aired on two totally different networks and have no shared creative personnel, it's still fun to consider the possibilities of Dexter crossing paths with The Office's own serial killer, the Scranton Strangler.
It's also worth noting that both Dexter and Sabre's corporate HQ are located in Florida, so it follows that local Florida businesses would be using Sabre printers.
And better yet, with Sabre's printers famously being recalled for spontaneously exploding, Dexter's life is actually hanging secretly in the balance simply by standing next to it. That would've been a way to kill him off alright.
