The Buffyverse was never as exciting as when we dove into the past to learn about Angel, Spike, Darla, and Drusilla. Otherwise known as the Fanged Four.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer started as your run-of-the-mill show about a teenage girl fighting off vampires. Angel was her mysterious handsome love interest that everyone was rooting for. However, things took a turn when we realized that there was more to Angel than first met the eye. He was actually a vampire, the very thing Buffy was meant to kill. Luckily, he was a vampire with a soul and had spent the past few years trying to make up for everything he did when he was changed a lifetime ago.

A series of the bloody history on the Fanged Four would get the blood pumping (see what I did there?). While Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the TV series Angel both touched on how Spike, Drusilla, Darla, and Angel were turned, and an expansion on that history is in order.

These four were essentially vampire crime bosses. When you have power you have to fight to keep it, and it would be great to see who challenged the fanged four and what they did in order to keep their power.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a light show for teens, while Angel was more adult with its darker atmosphere. The Fanged Four could lean into the latter and be a violent and a deliciously destructible experience.
