10 TV Show Characters Who Deserve Their Own Spin-Offs

1. Star Trek: Mirror Universe

Okay, this isn't just one or two characters, but I'm willing to bend the rules here. It had to be included.

The Mirror Mirror episode was one of the greatest from the original Star Trek series. In it, we saw how Kirk (William Shatner), Scotty (James Doohan), Bones (DeForest Kelley), and Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) were accidentally brought to an alternate universe through a transporter accident.

Now, Star Trek is no stranger to away missions gone astray, but this was the first time that the series dared to ask the question, what would happen if our heroes were the bad guys?

In the Mirror universe, humanity is a brutal race full of conquerors that have created the Terran Empire in place of The United Federation of Planets. Getting ahead in your career typically meant assassination and policies were enforced through torture and a show of brute strength.

Picture this: a series set completely in the Mirror universe. It could take place in one of two timelines, the first could be during the original series, right after Kirk’s landing party is returned to their original timeline. Or, the spinoff could take place during the prequel series Enterprise.

Star Trek: Enterprise had a three-episode arc in the Mirror universe, where we saw Ensign Hoshi Sato betray Captain Archer and take over the ship they discovered from the future. But what happens next? It's anyone's guess, but it sure would be nice to see it played out on screen wouldn't it?
