Dinosaurs, a family-friendly show produced by HBO and endorsed by Disney, a combination that on paper eludes to this being a sweet, wholesome collection of tales about a quirky but lovable family of anthropomorphic reptiles.

Which it ingenuously was for roughly 96% of its entire run until the veracity becomes all too real in the series finale. In it's most well-remembered episode - which itself should immediately reveal itself to be a precursor of what's in store - titled "Changing Nature".

In what can only be considered a macabre gut-punch, confused viewers - mainly children - whose parents had the arduous task of explaining the tragedy that just occurred on-screen - all die off-screen.
