Mike Judge and Greg Daniels have worked on a lot of classic American comedies.

Beavis and Butt-Head, The Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, The Office, their CVs are absolutely stacked. So, when they came together to create animated sitcom King of the Hill, few were surprised at how successful it was.

The adventures of Hank Hill and his family and friends ran for 13 seasons before its time was called in 2010. It's still an extremely popular show today, with many younger fans discovering it long after it went off the air.

Judge himself fuelled rumours of a comeback at San Diego Comicon in 2022. When answering a fan question on the subject, Judge stated the show had a "very good chance of coming back."

This, combined with Judge and Daniels forming their own animation company, sent the King of the Hill fanbase into a frenzy.

It's not like Judge doesn't have form when it comes to reviving his past successes, as shown by the 2022 Beavis and Butt-Head movie.

A return to Arlen, Texas would be a delight for so many, so let's hope that Judge's premonition bears fruit.
