10 TV Shows Creators Are Teasing Returns Soon

3. Lucifer

Some pieces of fiction like to present the Devil as a hideous, deformed beast with huge horns and goat's trotters.

Not Lucifer - they made their Satan a suave, sexy Englishmen.

Hell has never looked hotter.

Tom Ellis plays Lucifer Morningstar, the former proprietor of the Bad Place before he abandoned his duties to run a nightclub on Earth. Oh, and he's also a consulting detective for the Los Angeles Police Department. As you do.

The show eventually picked up steam after a rocky start, creating a considerable fanbase before it finally bit the dust in 2021. It has a history of surviving brushes with death though, as it was actually cancelled by original network Fox before being rescued by Netflix.

So maybe it could pull off a second great escape.

Showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich revealed to Screen Rant that they are hopeful the show will come back in one form or another.

Henderson said, "I think hopefully at some point, we can find a way to come back, or at least revisit or do something... never say never."

Modrovich then chimed in with his idea of Lucifer: The Musical, which Henderson replied to with Lucifer: The Animated Series.

Why not both?
