Why it Might Be Cancelled

The series wasn't a hit for CBS to begin with, but it's had a decent drop-off in its second season, falling below 1.0 among 18-49-year-olds, and pulling in just under 6 million viewers total. That makes it one of the network's lowest rated dramas, along with the sure-to-be-cancelled Ransom and Training Day, and the probably-getting-cancelled Elementary.

Why It Might Not

The series was initially ordered for a 13-episode second season, but CBS ordered a further three episodes later on, which is a signal they do have some faith in the series (it's cutting, not adding, episodes that typically heralds cancellation after all). With those three other dramas mentioned above likely on their way out too, and Doubt already cancelled, they might decide to keep this one around another year.
