10 TV Shows People Need To Stop Sleeping On

8. Into The Badlands (AMC)

Deadly Class
AMC

Though it has already been officially canceled, it isn't too late to jump on the bandwagon before the final set of episodes air. When discussing Into the Badlands, you could use any number of genres to describe it. At its very core Into the Badlands is a love letter to Martial Arts films, much to the credit of the show's leading man Daniel Wu.

Into the Badlands is set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic future where samurai warriors reign supreme. As expected, there is a lot of fighting sequences and even more blood. The choreography of the show is top notch, a fair opponent against any critically acclaimed Martial Arts Film. The show delves into the rich culture of the Badlands and exhibits it through breathtaking cinematography.

Into the Badlands was overshadowed by The Walking Dead on AMC, which could have a hand in the show's neglect. Unfortunately, they have canceled a show that brought all of the excitement and blood of the Walking Dead, with twice the originality.
