10 TV Shows That Actually Get Better With Every Season

2. Better Call Saul

Breaking Bad is an almost flawless show, but as the years have gone on its spin-off Better Call Saul has emerged as the best of the franchise, applying the same patient storytelling to an even more complex tapestry of crime and tragic character transformations.

Brought to life by Bob Odenkirk's increasingly heartbreaking and conflicted central performance, Better Call Saul started life an a sort of dark comedy-of-errors, following Saul as he entangles himself in amoral law practises and fraught family relationships.

But as time went on it became more than that: As Saul sunk to new lows, each season becomes darker, the drama more conflicted and the characters less predictable. Now enjoying its sixth and final season, it's eclipsed Breaking Bad as a more daring, more cinematic series that has improved itself at every turn.
