10 TV Shows That Aired Their Worst Ever Episode In 2015

3. Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken - Game Of Thrones

Original Air Date: May 17, 2015 A lot of people would probably argue that Game of Thrones' fifth season was its weakest to date; whilst there were some brilliantly memorable episodes scattered throughout, the season was also notable for its plodding pace, and the fact that lots of characters spent the sum of 10 whole episodes not really doing much - or getting anywhere. But the worst episode of the season (and the worst episode of the show to date) has to be the massively controversial Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken, which featured a highly disputable scene in which Sansa Stark is raped by her new husband Ramsay Bolton. Many felt that the scene was wholly unnecessary and added nothing to the show, and it's a perspective that makes sense. Though Game of Thrones is a gruesome and brutal show, it doesn't usually leave such a sour taste in your mouth having watched it: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken did exactly that, though. It felt like the show taking things too far for no reason. Not to mention that the rest of this episode felt mostly inconsequential, regardless of the rape scene. Remember how disappointing that five-way Sand Snake fight was? Meh.
