Speaking of medical dramas, the undisputed ruler of that genre will return for a staggering 19th Season on 6 October.
Since it first appeared on our screens back in 2005, Shonda Rhimes' hospital-based drama has grown into an unstoppable juggernaut, collecting awards and spin-offs in equal measure as it became one of the biggest TV shows in the world.
The show made stars out of Ellen Pompeo, Eric Dane, and Sandra Oh, and introduced us all to the word "McDreamy". The show's cast and characters have changed a lot over the last 17 years, but one constant has been Pompeo in the titular role of Meredith Grey - or at least, until now it has...
Season 19 of the show will feature Pompeo a lot less than in previous years. Scott Speedman, who plays surgeon Nick Marsh, will also tone down his role, and Cormac Hayes, played by Richard Flood, won't be coming back at all.
Fans have speculated for a while now that Grey's Anatomy might be coming to an end soon, but, for now at least, it will continue, so let's just enjoy the drama, romance, and sexy doctors while we still can.
