6. MAGIC Powers - Grey’s Anatomy
MAGIC is the name given to five central figures in the ever-lasting medical drama Grey's Anatomy - Meredith, Alex, George, Izzy, and Cristina.

The fifth season of Grey Anatomy ends on one hell of a cliffhanger concerning the wellbeing of one fifth of MAGIC.
A disfigured body is brought into the hospital after being hit by a bus. Unable to speak, the victim manages to write out "007" - the nickname of MAGIC member George O'Malley.
It turns out that George pushed a stranger out of the way of the bus, selflessly taking the hit himself. Despite his friends' best efforts, he is revealed to be braindead at the start of season six.
O'Malley's death was deeply moving, but it was actually referred to all the way back in the show's first episode.
After a tough first day on the internship, George remarks to Meredith, "We're going to survive this, right?"
She doesn't answer - which is pretty grim looking back. Does that technically make it Meredith's fault? Actually, let's not even go there. Grey's Anatomy fans are rabid enough as it is.
