9. Undeclared
Undeclared is Freaks and Geeks' little brother (as well as theoretical follow-up) in terms of shows that should have been incredibly popular but weren't, and gaining its dues when it was too late. It was a Judd Apatow brainchild with his motley crew of usual castees, and works in the same way. Awkward, hilarious, and filled with raw comedy talent, Undeclared could have been The College Sitcom as it acutely identifies the horrible fears and terrible situations that occur on a daily basis in the transition of school to college. For some reason, Fox cancelled Undeclared mid-season despite the show's strong plot and witty dialogue matching Apatow's most successful films. The best that can be said is that at least there are 17 golden episodes to still enjoy, and the world that Apatow created is clear and just as enjoyable in the films he went onto make.
