http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hKV-otgCZA If a good show like Married with Children feels the need to do something completely wild and think outside the box, you would think that they would do something great, that they'll deliver a good plot point that would have made a good show an even greater one. What they came up with was Seven, the unwanted 3rd kid in the Bundy family. Introduced as Peg's cousin, and abandoned by his mother, Seven made his first appearance in the series during the 7th season. And he only lasted for 12 episodes. The response to the character was mostly negative; he wasn't funny, he didn't add anything to the plot, and overall he was just annoying. He wasn't introduced correctly to the series, and he wasn't given the right treatment on it. On paper, adding a new member to the family was a great idea, but the execution was poor. He didn't return for the show's 8th season, but they decided to give the character the proper closure. The kid went missing, and the family didn't care one single bit. A little dark, don't you think?
