2. The OC - Mmmm Whatcha Say
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYIb-acZwk4 You'll see why I put this one on the second spot instead of the first. Let's begin with he fact that The O.C. wasn't a good show in the first place; it wasn't even a mediocre show. It was complete, pure crap, so it shouldn't have been a surprise to see them doing something completely stupid and ridiculous. But this moment was beyond any comprehension, beyond any logic, and whoever was in charge of this episode should be proud of themselves, because nobody has done something like this since Fonzie first jumped the shark back in 1977. This scene became the main reason why the show is still remembered nowadays. It's like the TV version of Cecilia Gimienez's Ecce Homo. Everything about that scene was completely wrong; it is probably the biggest mistake ever made by a network at the time. And we love it for it. Not only was the scene an example of "So bad, it's good," it also gave us the funniest sketch Satuday Night Live has ever made, and for that, we thank them.
