10 TV Shows Totally In Denial About Being Over
5. Westworld
Based on the 1973 movie of the same name, it looked like Westworld was poised to be the next thing, comparable to the popularity and hype of Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad. But three seasons in, and the series has already stumbled over itself, and can't seem to find its footing again.
Though its first two seasons were mesmerising and wonderfully unique entries into the sci-fi canon, the third season was released to increasingly mixed reviews, and it's easy to see why.
Whilst its premise was once complicated but rewarding in its complexities, the third season has thrown way too much story and rushed twists into the mix to make any sense. That, added with the show's lack of likable or compelling characters, has turned Westworld into almost a parody of its former self.
Considering these weaknesses and the fact that it's lost over half its viewers since its debut, it might be time to pull the plug on Westworld rather than letting it suffer on any longer.
