10 TV Universes That Make No Sense

2. The OA

Twin Peaks
Netflix

The OA raised lots of questions during its first two seasons, and now that it's been cancelled, the hope for answers has gone straight out the window and into an alternate dimension.

The show started simply enough. Prairie, a young girl who went missing 7 years before, reappears seemingly out of nowhere, and though she was blind when she went missing, she can now see. Prairie calls herself the OA (original angel) and recruits a handful of allies to help her save the world... maybe.

The first season seems to follow OA's story about her origins in tandem with the happens to her after she is found. The group of allies go back and forth in regards to believing her, as does the audience, and the end of the season doesn't do much to answer the question. But not to worry, season two to the rescue, or not.

Enter, alternate dimensions! From there, the show goes completely haywire, the characters and plots seem to practically melt in front of your eyes as more and more confusing plot twists are brought in to throw you off the scent. And then the season, and the series as a whole, ends with the characters jumping into our dimension, becoming the actors we know who play them! God, I've never wished for a show to get renewed more!

Lily thought it was about time she wrote Top Ten lists for people other than herself. She also owes her dog a lot of money so she thought it was about time to pay her dues. There is no tv show she likes that she hasn't seen at least twice.
