10 Unscripted Supernatural Moments That Were Kept In The Show

During Season One of Supernatural, the boys were feeling out of their depth when they released - and were faced with - a demon, which the fan favourite Meg Masters turned out to be. In Season Two, Meg possesses Sam, causing him to go on a spree of killing hunters, with Sam having no idea he was possessed or what happened during the time Meg took over his body.

As Meg takes over Sam’s body again, this time to go and kill their friend Jo, Dean rushes in and takes his possessed sibling to Bobby’s house where they subdue Sam under a devil’s trap. However, Meg is able to neutralize the devil trap (something we never see her do again in the show) and attacks Dean while Bobby performs an exorcism that causes Meg to be ripped from Sam’s body.

As Sam awakens from the events, he has no memory of what happened. The scene was originally meant to end there, but Jensen Ackles improvised punching Jared Padalecki to "make sure" Sam defiantly wasn’t possessed by Meg anymore.
